Endoscopic minimally invasive thyroidectomy: modifications of the Miccoli technique for the low-volume surgeon

MIVAT is a technique originally described by Paolo Miccoli, and as a result of their pioneering work it is now considered the most widely practiced and most easily reproducible procedure for minimally invasive thyroidectomy. In this lecture, Dr. Terris presents his experience on minimally invasive thyroidectomy with modifications of Miccoli’s technique.
