The objective of a radical prostatectomy should not only include the functional aspect but also the oncologic efficiency, continence and potency recovery. A strict and objective evaluation of the results should be performed, considering the best objective oncological outcome based on the PSA. A stepwise approach for an antegrade dissection is presented.
