Laparoscopic treatment of peritonitis after low anterior resection
Authors
Abstract
Low anterior resection (LAR) is usually the procedure of choice for rectal cancer, but a series of complications often accompany this procedure. Peritonitis caused by anastomotic leakage is a dramatic event. In this lecture, Professor Eric Rullier presents a case of peritonitis after LAR and discusses the options for treatment.
