In this lecture, Professor Targarona shows one of his first two cases of transvaginal laparoscopically assisted splenectomies. He demonstrates that the vaginal route is a feasible access to the left hypochondrium, and exposes the problems of performing a minimally invasive endoscopic splenectomy.
