Transgastric cholecystectomy is feasible but there are, however, many challenges that need to be addressed in order to refine the technique. In this lecture, Prof. Lee Swanström presents his experience with 25 patients with standard surgical indications for cholecystectomy and laparoscopic gastrotomy closure check at the end.
