Retrocaval ureter is one of the rarest congenital anomalies. It is a condition in which the ureter deviates medially and passes behind the inferior vena cava, winding about and crossing in front of it from the medial to the lateral side. It was first reported by Hochstetter in 1893. Incidence of retrocaval ureter is one in 1500 cadavers. Male to female ratio is 3 or 4:1. In this video, Dr. P.
