Surgical anatomy of the craniocervical junction

This lecture reviews the microsurgical anatomy of the craniocervical junction and foramen magnum with a focus on the following surgical approaches: far lateral approach and its transcondylar, supracondylar, and paracondylar modifications. It also reviews the extreme lateral approach and the anatomy of the cranial junction as viewed through the transnasal endoscopic approach.
