The new approach for the difficult cases in early gastric cancer treatment: development of double scope-ESD method

The endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is feasible for the treatment of early gastric cancers, but there are some limits to this technique (large lesions, difficult locations or associated fibrosis). The development of the double scope-ESD technique has defeated these disadvantages, increasing the indications to treat lesions considered difficult by conventional ESD.

Abstract
The endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is feasible for the treatment of early gastric cancers, but there are some limits to this technique (large lesions, difficult locations or associated fibrosis). The development of the double scope-ESD technique has defeated these disadvantages, increasing the indications to treat lesions considered difficult by conventional ESD.
