Thoracoscopic right upper lobectomy for primary lung adenocarcinoma

This 51-year-old male patient, smoker, has an undetermined isolated 2cm nodule in the right upper lobe. Bronchoscopy was normal. A biopsy under CT-scan guidance revealed an adenocarcinoma. 18-FDG scintigraphy demonstrated a significant and isolated fixation. It was decided to perform a right upper lobectomy via a totally endoscopic approach. The additional lymphadenectomy is shown in another video. This technique is presented in the book : D. Gossot Atlas of endoscopic major pulmonary resections (2010) Springer-Verlag France www.springer.com/978-2-287-99776-1
