Ureteral injuries during laparoscopic colon surgeries: causes and prevention

Ureteral injury during pelvic laparoscopic surgery is a known complication. Its morbidity depends on the time of recognition of the injury. The incidence of such injuries are 0.5-2 % and most of these complications occur with gynecology, endourology, and general surgery operations. In this lecture, Dr. Morris Franklin presents the causes of this complication and how to prevent it.
