Multiple studies have outlined the potential benefits of laparoscopic colon surgery. Recently, randomized control trials have demonstrated the safety of applying these techniques to colorectal cancer. In this lecture, Prof. Mehran Anvari presents the benefits of this approach stating that laparoscopic colectomy is the preferred method for treating most colon cancers.
