Mechanical CO2 - Endoflator®, mechanically monitored
- Excellent operational safety.
- Easy to use.
- Initialization mode: The units have a special mode for establishing pneumoperitoneum using the veress needle. The basic settings for insufflation pressure and flow in this mode are 15 mm Hg and 1 l/min.
- Continuously adjustable insufflation pressure.
- Built-in coeliotonometer: Patient's intra-abdominal pressure can be measured independently of the insufflation pressure by means of an additional instrument.

Electronic CO2 - Endoflator®
- High degree of patient safety.
- Easy to use.
- Clear, adjacent displays for set value and actual value for easy monitoring of insufflation process.
- Touch keys for precise preselection of set values.
- Optical and acoustic warning signals in the event of patient overpressure.
Fully automatic, electronically controlled gas refill (e.g. in case of gas loss when changing instruments).
- SECUVENT® Safety System: Constant monitoring of intra-abdominal pressure; any overpressure is reduced immediately.

Thermoflator
- Very high gas flow capacity of up to 30 l/min., thus ensuring maintenance of pneumoperitoneum even in case of very high gas loss.
- Highly suitable for providing a high gas flow when using smoke generating techniques (LASER and high frequency surgery) and when smoke suction systems are activated.
- Special initialization mode for establishing pneumoperitoneum at a preset insufflation pressure of 15 mmHg and a gas flow rate of 1 l/min. Unusually rapid pressure rise triggers a warning for the operator, e.g. if free positioning of the VERESS needle in the abdominal cavity is no longer ensured.
- High-Capability (HiCap®) Trocar specially designed for very high insufflation rates.
- OPTITHERM® Heating Element: The gas is preheated to body temperature, reliably preventing the peritoneum from cooling down, which is possible at high flow rates, and thus avoiding the risk of peritoneal catarrh.
- SECUVENT® Safety System: Constant monitoring of intra-abdominal pressure; any overpressure is reduced immediately.

Moisturizing System for CO2 - Gas
- Prevents dehydration of intra-abdominal mucosa as a result of high CO2, flow rates and if CO2, gas preheating is applied.
- Electronic monitoring of the liquid level with optical status display.
Automatic temperature monitoring.
- Optical signal indicating ready for operation status.
