Obstruction of the pyeloureteral junction (PUJO) in most cases, depends on intrinsic etiopathogenesis, on the presence of a segmental ureteral aperistalsis and alteration of the ureteral musculature. The association of PUJO and the presence of vascular anomalous shanks are frequent. Knowledge of this anatomical situation is essential as it helps to choose the therapeutic strategy as well as the surgical technique. In this lecture, Dr. Mushtaq presents the laparoscopic management of PUJO.
