This video shows the laparoscopic enucleation of a big and lobulated gastric leiomyoma close to the esophagogastric junction (EGJ). The 47-year-old patient underwent endoscopic ultrasonography with fine needle aspiration (FNA). The inmunohistochemical analysis excluded a GIST. It was subsequently decided to treat this patient by means of enucleation, hence avoiding a major gastric resection.
