Pediatric ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction repair is indicated in case of renal parenchyma alteration (lower than 40%), a progressive increase in the anterior-posterior diameter of the renal pelvis, a renal pelvis larger than 30mm, pain, pyelonephritis or lithiasis. Treatment consists of the resection of the ureteropelvic junction. In our experience, we do not perform any pyeloplasty.
