The indications for TUES surgery will change with improvement in the technique. I think that current best indications for TUES include appendectomy, liver cyst fenestration and cholecystectomy in general surgery. I am sure the range for TUES will be expanded greatly as advanced instruments such as bipolar cautery or ultrasonic scalpels and suturing devices suitable for TUES are developed.
