The arising of new anatomical studies on the parametrium highlights the relevance of a nerve-sparing approach during radical hysterectomy. One of the most important areas where the innervation has to be preserved are bladders pillars in order to reduce postoperative bladder dysfunctions. In this interview, Professor Leblanc and Professor Ceccaroni comment a laparoscopic dissection of the anterior parametrium focusing on the preservation of bladder innervation.
