Of note, 1 point is delivered for 1 hour of training completed for the chosen activity. WebSurg members can take one test to obtain one CME credit. At the end of the test, if it is completed successfully, the user will be delivered a certificate to print out.

Crédits EACCME

Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The delivery of the certificate of attendance is linked to the completion of an evaluation form and self-evaluation test. The CME provider has defined the criteria for passing the test.

Validité de l'accréditation

EACCME accreditation for the 2 e-learning activities begins on the day of February 14, 2017. Term of approval is for 2 years from this date (between February 14, 2017 and February 14, 2019).

Participation in each of the self-study activities should be completed in approximately 0.5 to 1 hour.  To successfully complete one activity and receive credit, participants must follow these steps during the period from February 14, 2017 through February 14, 2019 for the 2 operative techniques.
Make sure that you have provided all the necessary data and your date of birth on the registration form. WebSurg and the EACCME Secretariat of the UEMS require this information in order to grant credit and issue a certificate. If you have not provided this information, please click here.
Review the learning objectives.
The e-learning activity can only be taken once in a year. Please make sure that you have thoroughly studied the activity before you take the Multiple Choice Questionnaire(s).
Read and participate in the educational activity online.
Read, complete, and submit the answers to the posttest questions online. Participants must receive a test score of at least 80% and respond to the evaluation questions in order to receive credit and a certificate.
A transcript or CME log monitors the completed educational activities on WebSurg.
When you are finished, please click "submit".

Diffusion & profils

In compliance with UEMS/EACCME guidelines, the authors and experts involved in the elaboration of the e-learning activity confirm that they have disclosed any potential conflicts of interest or support that might cause a bias in their presentation.

Professor Jacques Marescaux, WebSurg Editor in Chief, accepts that WebSurg is responsible for ensuring that all potential conflicts of interest relevant to the e-learning activity are declared to the learners prior to engaging in it.
