Laparoscopic approach for a colovesical fistula
This video demonstrates a laparoscopic sigmoid colectomy in a patient with diverticulosis and chronic colo-vesical fistula. The surgeon uses a combination of lateral and medial approach to mobilize the mesocolon and divide the vessels close to the bowel. The fistula tract is divided to free up the colon in order to resect the affected segment. The surgeon in this case decides to resect the fistula tract completely and repair the bladder primarily. This is not always necessary.
This video is a good demonstration of the surgical approach to complicated diverticular disease with resection of colovesical fistula and repair of bladder.

Laparoscopic treatment of severe dysphagia after Nissen fundoplication
This video demonstrates the laparoscopic revision of slipped Nissen-Rossetti fundoplication performed previously by open technique. The patient's primary symptom was dysphagia and the surgeon decided to take down the previous wrap and perform a gastropexy. No redo fundoplication was done in this case.

Laparoscopic radical prostatectomy: transperitoneal approach
The description of the laparoscopic radical prostatectomy: transperitoneal approach covers all aspects of the surgical procedure used for the management of prostate cancer.
Operating room set up, position of patient and equipment, instruments used are thoroughly described. The technical key steps of the surgical procedure are presented in a step by step way: initial dissection of seminal vesicles, intrafascial dissection, specimen retrieval, vesicourethral anastomosis, end of procedure.
Consequently, this operating technique is well standardized for the management of this condition.

Laparoscopic radical prostatectomy: extraperitoneal approach
The description of the laparoscopic radical prostatectomy: extraperitoneal approach covers all aspects of the surgical procedure used for the management of prostate cancer.
Operating room set up, position of patient and equipment, instruments used are thoroughly described. The technical key steps of the surgical procedure are presented in a step by step way: creation of extraperitoneal space, operative protocol, intrafascial dissection, specimen retrieval, vesicourethral anastomosis, end of procedure.
Consequently, this operating technique is well standardized for the management of this condition.
